The group with meet outside the Google entrance, which is located between Mike’s Pizza and the team store, parrel to the service drive.
Parking: To be announced. A location near Little Ceasars Arena. A group rate will be available.
Those attending the game will walk to Comerica Park for the Detroit Tigers game after the meeting/tour.

Topic: Entertainment Venue Security: Exterior perimeter, Interior, Challenges and Opportunities
Guest Speaker: Michael Hartnett, Vice President, Venue Security, Illich Sports and Entertainment Inc.
Discussion Highlights:
The tour will focus on the security features encompassed at the LCA, including exterior perimeter protections, such as bollards and barricades, and interiors security features such as guest and colleague screening methodologies, security design features, and CCTV and alarm technologies. We will also tour the 24/7 command center and other areas inside the arena that are not generally available to the general public.

Speaker Background:
Mike Hartnett currently serves as Vice President of Venue Security for Ilitch Sports and Entertainment. In this position, he is responsible for leading the daily security operations and event-based security for the Detroit Red Wings, the Detroit Tigers, Little Caesars Arena, Comerica Park, the Fox Theatre and three outdoor music amphitheaters.
Prior to joining Ilitch Sports and Entertainment, Mr. Hartnett served as a Special Agent in the FBI for over 21 years. He retired as the Unit Chief of the FBI’s Crisis Management Unit.
